Meet Our Staff

Emily was inspired to get into politics during her time as a public radio journalist. She grew tired of reporting on the issues of the day, and realized real change comes from electing better leaders. Emily managed a first-time candidate's state House race in 2020.

She's a graduate of NDTC's Staff Academy and most recently worked as the Director of Party Affairs for the Michigan Democratic Party. Emily lives in Kalamazoo and loves to play board games. Her favorite game, currently, is Everdell.
